"Man's most miseries derive from his not being able to sit quietly in a room alone. " said Blasé Pascal. Meditation is a mental discipline to voluntarily transcending our awareness, for few minutes daily, from the thoughts of our day-to-day material demands, desires, and priorities.

Regardless of the name we may call this practice by, it is becoming a growing fact that its regular practice makes us more collect, composed, focused, and calmer promoting our abilities to think and judge clearly evermore.

The major benefits of meditation that we often hear from our participants are: it centers us, grounds us and allows us to live in the present, dealing with things one at a time; it allows us better to organize our priorities and meet adversities in life.

Practicing meditation requires no major modification in our daily lifestyle, and promises many lasting benefits in all areas of our lives - health, work, relationships and personal development.
